RE: Ok - I was set to get the 70 NOW why should I change again?

1. You don't need the extra power.
2. The ST-70 has a rather unsavory power supply, with very stressed components that are very picky regarding which rectifier tube you use.
3. Old stock EL84's cost way less than EL34's.
4. The 12DW7 in the ST-35 is a bit easier to get than the 7199.
