Can a 20 or 30 uF 160 VDC rated MBGO be safely used in a "slightly overvoltaged" state - as a higher quality bypass cap on an elevated Rk ?
( I am thinking of it operating at 180 to 202 VDC at the TOP of the Rk, in a direct coupled circuit. )
Anyone have experience with over voltaged MBGOs ?? Reliability ??
It would be a whole LOT cheaper than a Mundorf Silver Oil Gold there, for a budget build, and superior to a electrolytic.
TIA.
