Yep, checked that one. The tubes on the dead side lights up fine as well, so nothing wrong there with the filament voltages I don't think.

I have built a couple of tube amp kits. I think that except for a dead output transformer, I pretty sure it shouldn't be too difficult to fix. I don't have the circuit diagram, but I was thinking that by looking at the tubes I can check the plate voltages and work my way back from there?
