No, you did not. You posted this,

Now if you had just said something like,
"Hey, sorry to butt in but you might want to try..................."
that would be one thing but that's not what you did.
Your questions have the air of belittlement as if you are trying to put the original poster down.
Keep doing that and you will marginalize yourself.
