I must confess--I was doing just fine with my present vinyl setup. Simple memories of 10.5 inch reels spun somewhere deep in my psyche... until the advent of this tape forum.
There was absolutely no turning back! Yes, indeed I was on the prowl for what soon showed up at my door --- a real reel to reel.
I am not sure about needing a yo yo though, I would probly end up poking out an eye with it.Remember, clean and demagged heads are happy heads :)
