The usual situation -- friend of a friend of a friend's tapes of utterly unknown provenance.

The one I am listening to now is an air check @ 3-3/4 ips from some Honolulu FM station. Based on the music, probably dates from ca. 1973 (I heard Foghat's song "Golden Arrow" which I believe dates to 1973).

"White Room" playing as I type this...

Sounds halfway decent -- if nothing else, great stereo separation...
wonder what kind of tuner/receiver it was dubbed from?
