Yeah, I've had this message and a number of others. I'm sorry to say that, whilst I'm not stupid (well I don't think so), but perhaps too trusting, I actually clicked onto the email and began to put in my details. I only clicked when they asked for my 'pin' number. It's a spoof email, ebay have confirmed.

The other one I often get is the 'second chance offer' where it's said the top bidder has pulled out and you have a chance to get the item for your highest bid (funnily, often not the second highest bid anyway!). But the email address is not the same as that offering the item in the first place, and the message is accompanied with 'I'm in Italy because of family reasons and I need the money urgently' (I promise, I've had this message many more times than just the once'). They also say they'll get ebay to send a separate message to say what a good chap they are.

I always respond 'Great! Send me the item. When it works, I'll send the money right away'. I hope this really annoys them!
