Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

Is driving a SET from a balanced source a bad idea?

I'm planning to drive a 45 SET from a balanced source. Is that a bad idea?

Of course the interconnects would be RCA on the SET end and balanced on the other end, but just wanted to make sure as I have no experience with SETs. Oh, and by source I mean a DAC.

I'm interested in learning if there is a technical mismatch of some sort, electrical or something, rather than going into a debate about whether a DAC directly driving an amp sounds better than having a preamp in between. When I first looked into SETs I asked someone "why don't they come with balanced inputs?"...then I realized how stupid that question had been. Well, this might be my second stupid question on the subject...but would be worst if I learnt about it with the amp at home :(

Thank you!
