I heard in the local Cary showroom a few years back. They have such amazingly sweet and life like sheen and timbre from the mids on to highs I ve not heard before. And I heard most of the available "High End" amp and speaker combos, those represented by TAS and Stereophile anyway.If I had the $ and the space, my absolute First Choice Spker would be Kochel...driven by an SET most definitely. My dream system is out of reach for me and most ppl.... AN Kegon, Kochels....
I hear Kondo left AN, so bye bye Kegon at any rate. Oh well...
Either that or paper driver speakers (NHT? 87 dB only *sigh*).
