Thanks DrM. A couple of questions-
What values did you end up using in the RIAA, and did you check to response? There was some discussion about changing the values a few months back on the bottlehead forum and I was ready to dive in, but there were questions in about the accuracy of the Spice model used to derive the values, I don't think anybody ever gave measurements to prove the design. I am guilty of the same, I have not measured the Groove Thang since converting it from a Wright phono stage.I'd really love to see someone generate some response curves of the variations.
Did you notice a difference in noise level, dynamics, or tonal balance at the lower current?
