The nature of analog is that it does not have sample rate. However due to the physical limitations of the medium we can expect response upwards of about 20k cps or hz, and even higher. Below that there is no Gating, frames, sampling etc.. Like analog magnetic tape, we are limited by other factors like tape speed and groove size/lp speed. Analog suffers other problems that affect resolution like noise of all kinds and durability of the medium as well as component issues.(surface, system etc) There is no visual analog data storage equivalent that you can use that applies to analog sound.
