I have not purchased computer speakers for a while, but I ran across this:http://www.vonschweikert.com/fps_speaker.html
Although I have not heard these, this company has a good reputation and offers a free trial. I have been tempted to try them myself even though I am not currently in the market for a smaller speaker set.
