RE: What's your next "digital" purchase for audio ?

If I had the money, I would buy an Aurrender.
Second I would have my friend bring over his Directstream and compare it to the Lindemann 825. (I got a Lindemann for Christmas, the transport has a mind of it's own,but the dac has 4 inputs)
If the Directstream was better, then I would also want the new DMP transport, for the ability to play DSD through the I2S input.

I recently replaced my Lambda with a b-stock PWT. Then I was loaned the Lindemann, and right after Christmas I was told it is now mine. It doesn't do DSD, but JRiver does a nice job of converting it to 24/176.
My system has never sounded better.

So, although I would like to do the upgrades above, I am quite content.
