Benchmark just announced the Dac3 with new chips, only $200 more.
There will probably be some very good deals on used Dac2. Which is a very good, versatile dac. Right now I am using an on loan Lindemann 825,which sold new for 6 times as much as the Dac2. The 825 being used as a dac only, is more refined, but it doesn't embarrass the Dac2.
