I use a Node 2. You can connect a USB drive, or stick directly to the Node.
Or stream from a NAS connected to the wifi router.
Used Node 2, + NAS + 2 drives (1 for backup); about $600-750
Once set up, you can control the Node using a Bluesound App.
App and control interface is not as sophisticated as something like Jriver, but it is sufficient to easily use the box.
