RE: HEEELP - Ayre QB9 24/96 not recognised by Late 2013 13" Retina MBP

Hi AbeCollins,

No I never tried the Ayer with the 13" Retina Mac before. I have always used it with my older 15" unibody MBP. I thought to try the 13" Retina expecting better sound as it is the fastest machine I have. That's when I found it was not picking the Ayre up.

When I go into the system report under USB the Ayre is not showing at all so the computer is not even seeing the Ayre. However other USB devices work normally when I connect them to the same USB sockets of the 13" Retina Mac. Just does not make sense.

I will check with the Ayre distributor I bought the unit from in case he is familiar with the mystery.
