Thanks to both of you for your responses and help.Alan,sometimes pressing the 3 buttons does not elicit any reaction or change on the display.Is there need for an extended "press"?
The sound is great,out of the box,much much better than the EE minimax that I was using before.I am using a U12,that probably has synergy with the X12.I am bowled over by the sound.I am a classical musician,and until now have listened mainly to LPs on an EMT 950,and reel tapes on a Revox B77.Digital seems to have come of age.
