I use Audirvana to upsample everything either to 352kHz or 384kHz 32bit or DSD128. It does improve things. Audirvana also allows adjusting the filter it uses for this and it does make a difference. I've also played with EQ and found, interestingly, that ~2-3dB cuts at 8-10kHz improve things.
All of these help, but fatigue still sets in after a bit of listening
