DAC Recommendation?

I listen almost exclusively to classical music and especially like violin. While my current DAC does other things well, I find the violins too sharp. I have heard better violin tone in similar setups so I do think the DAC could be improved in this regard.

Could you recommend a USB DAC that produces smooth & natural violin tone, an "analog-like" ease if you will? Preferably under $2k USD, even better if under $1k. Preferably DSD capable.
