and they are not the only ones to dump on MQA. This is because to implement MQA themselves there is probably a royalty to pay but also the MQA decoder likely renders any in house DSP obsolete and dilutes any unique-selling-points that companies have. And, I suspect a little jealousy as MQA is very clever and a disruptive technology.
The market will decide if MQA is successful. I've heard a demo and was impressed but I haven't done A-B comparisons.
