Impossible to find one best motherboard.

The author of Bughead does have some specific recommendations in his docs which are interesting. He recommends a powerful CPU and allot of memory for his software. For the MB he recommends.... he stresses the importance of power delivery. Worth reading. I use server boards, Xeon CPUs and ECC memory.

I like having four cores to be keep player software separate from other running processes. Lots of good reading and useful ideas on JPlay and CA forums.

One good thing about JPlay is that it places itself on a separate core. Processes Lasso can be used to further fine tune core and process parameters.
