I know the sky is not falling with each version of Itunes. I also know I feel like I'm re-learning how to manage my library every year or so. Each new version is taking me AWAY from my music and trying to pull me towards ITunes cloud. I even dread figuring out how to manage my music on my Iphone!
I have lived with Itunes all these years and I am done. I just keep putting off the painful transition to JRiver as my current metadata is pretty near perfect on 2 tb of music. Custom album art on hundreds of live shows, etc. Converting formats, etc.. It is going to be very painful for someone of my limited tech/patience skills but that's how bad I want out of ITunes.
Maybe I could find someone to do it for me? Know of any candidates? That would probably be money well spent.
