As I recall, the tricky part was getting the capacitor leads off and back on without damaging them. You will need some Artic Silver or Eqv. If you have a lot of experience in mechanical and electrical mods / soldering / de-soldering, you can definitely do it yourself. Just use a high quality soldering station like a Weller & high quality de-solder tools. I did it successfully a long time ago..
