BTW picked up some Altec (Peerless) 15K:15K linestage trannies to solve my problem.Any more where those came from? I'd like to grab a couple to play with when I've some free time.
By the way, if you intend to mount those in the amplifier chassis, be careful. Those high impedance input trannies can pick up quite a lot of noise from the power transformers. Even if they're in MuMetal cans.
