Steve,As explained in Kyle's post, it's a matter of demand. Lundahl has been responsive to my requests for a replacement transformer for the UTC LS27. I needed one for the replica kit I am developing for the RCA BC-2B mic preamp.
On the topic of CCSs, you might want to try the K&K Audio CCS. It is true two terminal and "sounds" good.
