Gordon is right! Fostex is the way to go if you want to keep costs down in regards to speakers. But what about the box? What do you do? Well, a rather nice solution is to build a pair of Voigt Pipes. The Voigts are easy to build! Plus you are getting the closest thing to a horn speaker!Just take a look at Nocturne's Voigt Pipes linked below. He tells you all you need to know about these speakers, including the costs involved. To keep costs down, he used the Fostex FE-205 Sigmas instead of the more expensive Lowthers. Still, I find it amazing that he built the pair for only $463.45!
