Being extremely biased, since having used these for over 25 years, I'd have to say they're great. I just re-coned mine last year. They are quite efficient, smooth, and entirely non-fatiguing - very "musical" IMO. These concentrics are apparently not often offered for sale, and the price sounds good. Cheviots came stock with foam surrounds, but numerous years ago Tannoy did sell the drivers separately. I don't think they do any more. You will find, if you need new surrounds, that no reputable agent will try to just replace them. Those who know Tannoys know that you must purchase a re-cone kit, which includes new cone, surround, and spider. They cost about US$300 each, and really should be done in pairs. I did mine myself - it's pretty easy. If you need or want more info, I can give you info on a very knowledgeable Tannoy rep in Canada. Everybody referred me to him.
