OK, but help me remember, which setting on my radio shack meter do I use (C weighted?). I'll post the results. I will give you what I consider 'loud' but not 'too loud' (i.e., too loud is uncomfortable, or extremely rare I would ever play it that loud, etc.).You referred to your situation as having SET friendly speakers but sometimes the 300B's didn't cut it. Are you saying that you ultimately wouldn't call those particular speakers SET friendly, or are you just pointing out that we're operating on the edge here, walking the line between great music and the occasional failure of the amp to meet the challenge (something I presume horn fans don't run into as often)?
