going by a Colossus 12B spec sheet, moving mass is somewhat high but BL is very strong so they should work ok.

are your Karlson's size: K15? K12? maybe in-between ? (I've seen K15 scaled by 0.8 a few times in pre-internet days)

do your cabinet have multiple slot vents or a single vent?

I've not heard your Phillips driver - seems like it should have a very nice midrange - have you tried adding a "helper tweeter" to fill in the treble power above ~8KHz?
