High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

Traded a non working tube amp for some fun Altec stuff today. (4x511, 2x808-B8, 1x 802-DB8, 1x unknown with tangerine plug). Unfortunately none of the drivers work, thus my dilemma: Buy GP diaphragms for the drivers and work them into my system, or sell them off and buy modern drivers (B&C DE250?). Same with the horns frankly. 511 horns are good, but there are probably modern alternatives that are better. Do I go for the "Altec sound" or sell the stuff off and buy some newer "better" stuff. Note that my current system uses JBL/B&C/Eminence.
