for the La ScalaHave owned these for years along with a pair of Heresy's. The sound stage is really big and will surprise you with the sheer dynamics in great recordings. Bad recordings will sound bad no matter what kind of amp or source. If you are going to purchase these you should consider building a THT sub to gain a lower octave for organ music. Mine are modified with dynamat on the mid horn as well as upgraded capacitors. The caps don't make much of a difference but the dynamat does take out some of the resosnance of the horn. If you like real dynamics and faithful reproduction of music then these are the bargain you have been looking for. You can spend thousands more but would be hard pressed to find a better speaker.
