If the speaker is not going to work below 150 Hz there is virtually no point in the horn, which starts right about there.
ERM . often on a Constrained Horn (most ALL in a residential setting) the Output pretty Stops right about there.
So that 'No point' arguement has genuine credence as far as simple Hz extension goes.
Check out Nelson Pass' Klein horns. Astounding things by the way.
He has fitted MASSIVE subs to fill in what his Auditorium sized Horns cannot reach to.
Just imagine what a horn with a ...Less than 2.2 Meter diameter mouth.. is HZ capable of.
Surprisingly little in real life,
