A lot of people use RG to fill speakers but I have not read any reports of negative effects or noticed fibers coming out of the ports.

I got the 414's off Ebay and the drivers measured quite differently and the original aftermarket recone job was awful, so I never listened to them, just shipped them off to Bill at GPA.

All I can say is that it was money well spent once I finally got to listen to them.
