The 2008 crash limited my hi fi budget to strictly messing with used gear.
Selling off my Khorns in 2008, I had various Pro "horn stacks" in place for the last 6 years which culminated in the excellent Klipsch K402's by Roy Delgado (rare in the used market) who is Klipsch's prolific horn designer. For bass, some bass horns of my own design based on the Klipsch MWMs, and QSC waveguides driven by B&C DE-250 tweets. Modified Klipsch Heresy's for surrounds with a pair of used Danley DTS-10 for superb sub duty.
I just scored some used SPL TD-1's, which appear to be almost identical to Danley Sound Labs SH-46 synergy horns.
All I can say is WOWW!! I'm discovering sounds I never heard before in my "audiophile" program material. Other than getting more of Danley's products on the used market (I can't afford new ones right now) my quest for SONIC NIRVANA is over.
Thank you Tom. You are RIGHT!
