Problem is that it is not just any PS3 but only certain PS3s with the correct firmware. They are difficult to find especially as most folk selling used PS3s won't have any idea about this and will not provide the required detail for identification in their sales ads.

I think that accessing the right PS3 was perhaps easier a couple of years ago. I have dozens of SACDs and would love to be able to rip them but I think that it is now just too hard to bring about.

Of course of anyone thinks that there is an easier solution then let me know.
