Just got my copy of the hybrid disc yesterday. I have had the cd for over a year and listened to it twice and was not overwhelmed.Based upon yesterdays experience I will be listening to this SACD a lot!
I'll let others more versed in musical categories describe her style, but this album is so well recorded that her verses certainly allow you to enjoy the message of each song. Absolutely no strain to understand the words.
In my opinion there are only two songs that I don't really like.
Glad that I have it and highly recommend it.
