I may be totally off-course but it is correct for me to say that the whole power supply aspect of the audio upgrade path is very much overlooked in the UK.....or maybe just not considered to be a problem. Sure, when you attend the hi-fi shows the major players set their demo rooms to make the best impression and they use clean supplies and OTT cables but then they can't afford to drop a single point in the sales game can they? The fact remains that there are probably only 2 or 3 clean supply type products in the UK audio scene and they are very much 'under the counter' with hardly a mention in the magazines.
Are we just a bit late to catch on or, back to my original point, does our 240v supply account for this?
