Sorry yes .. looking for information i found a link to the Ossic X system but i deemed it OT here.
Interesting system by the way.
But i am more interested in the processing of a simple stereo signal.
Even if from what i understand some HPs are better than others at giving an out of head sound, an actual processing of the signal is needed for a very spatial experience.
It is a real pity that that effect is accidental.
The sound was very far from perfect ... actually very bad to be honest.
But the location of the sound source was clearly out of the head and placed more or less in the tv screen. Quite amazing.
Having read some articles about digital eq and the precision with which is possible to modify a signal i think that this is the way.
Many time i have associated some listening fatigue with HPs to this "sound in the head" feeling.
For now i have only got the sound external but front is very challenging.
