I just repaired my RA-1 (AC powered) that had developed noise. Problem was the ground wire from the power supply had separated from the ground on the output jacks. The power supply is a a +/- 12v adapter (0.15A) with three wires. The positive and negative supplies go to a DPDT switch and the ground is tied in at the output jacks. The measured voltages were 12.05v and -11.96v. I hope that helps.
