I've found my 897-S really seems to Like PSB Alpha B's. I don't know where they get all the bass from. I don't even bother with the Sub any more. They are rated in-room at 91, image very well, present a "friendly load" and I got mine NOS for $175. Been favoring The Slovtec KT88's lately. I did the upgrade to the Vitamin Q caps and got the upgraded volume control with mine.
