Hi...
I just received these New more powered JJ-E34 L tubes, for my Gifted St-70 Series 2 by Panor, as a replacement to the Germans Siemens that came factory fitted under "National" brand.
When I will exchange the tubes I really don't know yet... The two leds in each chanel still show me that the tubes are good...! I have also a Hickok 339c tube tester I check all those fitted "National" brand EL-34 and all the quad show the same Mutual Conductance, 6,000, when the minimum on the Hickok card indicate 3,500 as the lowest one!
Today's "NOS" ones are extremely expensive!, I also have from 4 decades earlier when I once own a Marantz 8b power a quad RCA, made in UK by Mullard.., of course "NOS" ones.
Again..seem me that the JJ-EL-34 or what I obtain JJ-E34L...will do the job perfectly!
