I have a Stereo 400 amplifier that I built in the seventies. I decided to dust it off and use it with my revived PAT-4 and FM-5 which I also built in that time frame. The right channel of the ST-400 does not work after some smoke and hissing from the associated PC-28 circuit board components when the us nit was turned on. I am not qualified to troubleshoot or repair the problem but would love to get the unit back in operation. I would appreciate any suggestions of where I can have the unit repaired as close to eastern Connecticut as possible.
