ST 410 PC-28 BOARD

Ok, So I may have jumped the gun a little. In my haste to see the results of the new trinkets i installed mentioned in my first post I overlooked the obvious. The TO3 sockets are original and barely grasp the pins of the new transistors. It appears one of the pins was not making contact. A little contact cleaner and a touch of solder to the tips of the pins seams to have made better grip. After replacing the slightly toasty 47 ohm and reinstalling everything the bias is now stable. Apparently this puts allot of stress on the 47 ohm resistors and thus releasing the special smoke. This makes me think that many of the (dead channel) 410-416 with pc-28 boards have suffered the same fate. I hope that my inexperience with these amps may be of benefit to others as I discover what not to do. Its been fun taking what was dumpster material to something usable again. Thanks for looking and please comment, I need all the help I can get.
