No, of course that was not my point. However it seems as if DVD-A has not received the attention that SACD has from high end manufacturers => opinion that DVD-A is inferior and that was the point I felt the review made. I'm not knocking SACD as, done well, it is excellent, just as DVD-A, done well is also excellent. Bottom line however is the software and, at the moment, I'm unconvinced DVD-A discs are worth the extra expense as I'm getting such new enjoyment from CDs. Note I said "new" because even with the Meridian 861 version 2, I did not find most CDs impressive.John
