"Advanced Resolution" denotes any DVD-Audio track, as opposed to any Dolby Digital or DTS track that may be on a DVD-Audio disc. While most Advanced Resolution tracks are presented in 24/96 and 24/192, even 24/48 tracks are referred to as Advanced Resolution, as 24/48 is still higher resolution than Dolby Digital or DTS.As I recall, Two Against Nature was recorded in 24/48 PCM. In a sense, it was "upsampled" for DVD-Audio. Regardless, this disc sounds incredible. The stereo track is easily better than the CD, which sounds great in its own right. The Two Against Nature DVD-Audio disc is easily one of the best-sounding high-resolution discs (DVD-Audio or SACD) I own. If only every disc could sound this good.
