RE: Glad to see Stereophile Recommended Components Back Up to 500!! (nt)

Mr. Atkinson,

First many thanks for your proactive input on this forum. It is beyond the call of duty. My question is regarding the new Music Hall MMF 7.3 turntable in class B. The price at 1595.00 with the Ortofon Bronze is great, but it seems that the the positive review was premised on use of an upgraded Goldring Elite, at roughly 500.00 more to the cost. Wondering if the cost listed in recommended components should be higher (reflecting use of an Elite cartridge v. the Bronze), or whether it truly is class B with the Ortofon Bronze, and even higher Class B with the Elite cartridge. I am considering a new turntable in this price range and clarification would be welcome. Thanks again.
