AFAIK there should be nothing coming out of the LFE in stereo. On movies only the .1 signal comes out with the speakers set to large.

"Is it a full range signal, which is then dealt with by the sub's crossover, or is it already crossed over at whatever the Panny's filter setting (100, 150, 200) is set to?"

It is already crossed over.
