I just got the ASL LH-01 last night and dropped it into my system with the Waves. I wrote a little First Impressions in the Tubes Asylum.I think it's a GREAT match with the Waves. Compared to the Cambridge A500 I was using as a preamp, there's a LOT more texture and a greater sense of dynamics.
It's not the quietest preamp in the world, but a little background noise doesn't bother me if I can't hear it from my listening position.
The remote has very granular controls which I like.
The headphone output is a nice bonus and sounded really good with my Beyer DT250-80s.
I'll try to do a proper review once I've spent some time with it, but I'm already anxious to go home and listen to it again.
