My Marantz NR1506 is now set up and sounds not very good although as expected we found Audyssey totally useless and had to adjust manually,I do not know how the Marantz power amp section sounds as I only use the pre-out into my more powerful stereo amp. The installer says he does not like the Marantz sound but the pre -amp is fine so is the FM tuner. certainly very good value. I never use a sub.
