Tube integrated amp with cdp with volume control question

Hi Everyone. Thinking of getting a tube intergrated amp to go with my cdp which has a volume control. Currently using tube monos..

Before I pull the trigger...my question is...will any issues arise from having both with volume controls. Main concern is noise and degradation of sound quality. Anyone gone this route before?

Plan is to turn up the volume of cdp to max and control volume via integrated amp. I don't think it's possible to disengage volume control of cdp.
